Buchenwald concentration camp
Above is a photo of a pile of bodies piled up where everyone can see the corpse of a once vibrant body. During the holocaust the corpse of a human meant nothing. It was just a body. A usless, lifeless body that was a waste of space. "Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.”
The buchenwald concentration camp was first built in early June. It was first known as Konzentrationslager Ettersberg. On August 6 1937, the camps name was changed to Buchenwald. Like most concentraip camps, the population increased to 5,382 on September 1, 1939. There was only 1,000 peasants at first, so the camp population increased dramaticaly.
