Mauthausen concentration camp
In this picture it shows prisoners working either cutting down trees to make supplies, or making roads, or sometime just breaking rocks. It was like jail but more complicated. "Labor brings you freedom" But sadly, that was never the case.
On August 8 1938, Himmler ordered a couple of hundred prisoners from the Dachau camp to be transported to the little town of Mauthausen just outside Linz. the plan was that they would keep them there to sufer from stuff like, starvation, and in pour unsanitari conditions they would get diesises and die from those to. Until 1939, most of the prisoners were put to work building the camp and the living quarters for the SS some die making that to. the Nazi's were crule to hurt a person like that.
